The DuPage County Bar Association advances the practice of law and promotes the legal professional through community service and legal education. Chartered on February 1, 1879, the DuPage County Bar Association (DCBA) is the largest county bar association in Illinois with approximately 2,000 members. From educational seminars to community service programs to social functions, the DCBA ranks as the heavyweight in county bar associations in Illinois.
Welcome to the DCBA Brief!
June 2013
The DuPage County Bar Association started publishing the Brief 20 years ago. Here you can look through back issues, learn about how to participate through written contributions, advertising or subscriptions, or provide us with feedback in response to whatever you may have read in the print edition or here on line. In the photo diaries section of this website, we'll also be posting dozens of images from DCBA events, expanding the coverage we usually provide in print and developing an archive.  We'll be expanding the back issue section to make articles searchable on line, developing areas on the site that allow for more interaction, and opening more up-to-date calendaring and news sections.  In the meantime, please, take a look through last month's edition,* browse the site (you can search the site using Google; just scroll down this page to the search bar), and let us know what you think!  This is your bar association and your magazine.  We welcome your participation!  -The Editors.

* To get the current issue, you need to join the DCBA or subscribe to the magazine;
